Join us for the Bicentennial Celebration of the Chi Phi Fraternity in the historic city of Troy, New York, hosted by the Theta Alumni Association of the Chi Phi Fraternity.

The formal banquet dinner for the celebration will be taking place on Saturday evening at the Hilton Garden Inn on Hoosick Street in Troy, New York.
Below, you will find a full schedule of the weekend's festivities, with specific venue and activity information.
We look forward to seeing all of our alumni at this celebration as we honor two centuries of Chi Phi tradition and brotherhood!
Event Schedule
Dinner and Reception @ Wolff's Biergarten in Albany, NY

Step into an evening of fun and camaraderie at a favorite venue of Chapter alumnae.
A cash bar will be available and at 10pm the venue will open its doors to the public.
Bowling @ Uncle Sam Lanes in Downtown Troy, NY
Get ready for bowling at Uncle Sam Lanes in the heart of Downtown Troy. Alumni are encouraged to reconnect with other alumni by getting breakfast/brunch or going to the Troy Farmer's Market prior to the event.
A cash bar will be available throughout the event.
Semi-Formal Banquet @ Hilton Garden Inn
This event will begin with a cocktail reception followed by a momentous evening as we celebrate 200 years of brotherhood and academic excellence at the Bicentennial Banquet, honoring the legacy of the Chi Phi Fraternity and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Hosted in the illustrious Ferris Grand Ballroom, this banquet will be a night to remember.
The dinner will include a wonderful 4 course buffet and accommodate vegan, dairy free and gluten free dietary restrictions. Throughout the evening, a cash bar will offer both imported and domestic drinks.
The celebration will also feature speeches from the Theta Alumni Association, reflecting on the rich history and enduring legacy of Chi Phi and RPI. The Theta Housing Corporation will also kick off their capital campaign.
This event will be semi-formal / pin attire.
A separate registration option and menu is available for children 12 and under.
Alumni Cookout and Field Day @ The Chi, 1981 15th Street
To round out the weekend, we will finish with a cookout and field day at our Chapter Houses. Our Brothers will be grilling food for everyone while we reminisce on the weekend and play lawn games.
This event is complimentary and open to everyone in attendance.

Then join us for a momentous evening as we celebrate 200 years of brotherhood and academic excellence at the Bicentennial Banquet, honoring the legacy of the Chi Phi Fraternity and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Hosted in the illustrious Ferris Grand Ballroom, this banquet will be a night to remember.
The menu will include a soup dejour, garden salad and freshly baked bread to start. The entrees will be Chicken Francaise, Sliced Roast Beef Tenderloin (GF), and a Pasta Primavera (DF / V). Accompanying these dishes are sides of roasted asparagus and roasted garlic mashed potatoes. To end on a sweet note, desserts include classic New York Style cheesecake with berries and whipped cream, as well as a decadent Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake. Throughout the evening, a cash bar will offer both imported and domestic drinks.

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute is under five minutes' drive from our hotel. It's a quick trip to downtown Troy and I-787. Albany International Airport and the Rensselaer Amtrak Station are both within 10 miles. Grab a bite at our restaurants, Recovery Sports Grill and Garden Grille & Bar. Is there a golf event?
A golf event is being considered for Friday or Saturday. If this event is on Saturday, it would take place concurrently with bowling and take the place of bowling for those participating. This event would have an additional cost and will be planned tentatively based on interest at the time of registration.
